Worship is held at the First United Methodist Church in Laverne each Sunday beginning at 11:00 am. It is a time to set aside the world and focus on God as, together, we are immersed in the Word of God! We spend our time together in celebration, praise, and thanksgiving as we draw strength for life from praying, singing, and hearing the Word of God read and proclaimed.

Join us as we praise God through both modern/contemporary songs and classic/traditional hymns, share our joys and prayer concerns, share time with the children, hear God's Word, and listen to a message intended to offer God's Word to raise us up into the Light of Christ and God's caring arms, from our pastor, Dr. Stephen Hale.

The first Sunday of each month is Holy Communion, where we share in the Means of Grace renewed as we share the consecrated bread and juice that represent the body and blood of Christ sacrificed for our sins. All are invited to receive Communion regardless of your situation in life or membership status.
